How to choose a pouch? A practical guide

Why is it important to choose a pogruzchik?

Pogrove is one of the most widely used techniques in the field of construction, warehouse, manufacturing, agriculture and logistics. It helps in the fast loading and transportation of sand, gravel, soil, grain, feed, waste and other cargo. However, when choosing equipment, it is not enough just to look at the price or appearance.

An incorrectly selected router can reduce work productivity, increase fuel consumption, and require frequent repairs. And the correctly chosen model speeds up daily work, creates convenience for the operator, and helps control business costs.

Before choosing a loader, it is necessary to determine where the equipment will work, with what material, and under how much load. Based on this information, the lifting capacity, the size of the bucket, the lifting height, and the necessary additional equipment are selected.

Determine what kind of work the technique is for

Each type of work requires different capabilities from a quarryman. For example, equipment working inside a small warehouse will not have the same size and capacity as equipment operating in a quarry or large construction site.

Muzzle can be used in the following missions:

  • loading sand, gravel and soil;
  • material gain per truck;
  • cargo handling in the warehouse;
  • loading of grain, feed and other light products;
  • preparation of the construction site;
  • process with fertilizers, silage or fodder on farms;
  • sweep the territory or clean the snow;
  • Transportation of palletized cargo.

Gravel and wet sand, for example, are heavy materials. To work with them, you will need a sturdy cavity and equipment with sufficient lifting power. And when working with lighter but bulky materials such as grain, cotton, or feed, a bulky cavity can be more useful.

Choose the right lift capacity

Lifting capacity is the amount of load that a ruler can safely carry. This metric is one of the most important factors in the choice of equipment.

The weight of the material in a single cavity will not always be the same. For example, the weight of dry sand and wet sand will differ. Gravel, rock, and dense soil may be heavier. Therefore, even if the cavity is large, an excessive load will be placed on the equipment if the material density is not taken into account.

Before choosing, determine the following:

  • how much material is transported in one work cycle;
  • type and approximate weight of material;
  • how many hours a day does the equipment work;
  • whether the work area is flat or inclined;
  • how high to load it.

It is not recommended to use the appliance at its maximum capacity every day. The more you choose a model with a bit of redundancy for your work, the more stable it will be and there will be less load on the nodes.

Hive size affects work performance

The size of the bucket determines how much material the cavity can load in one motion. When handled with a very small cavity, a longer work cycle is needed. A very large cavity, on the other hand, can put an excessive load on the machinery in a heavy material.

It is recommended to choose the type of hives depending on the material:

Material TypeSuitable Equipment
Sand, Soil, GravelStandard Bucket
Rocky or Dense SoilReinforced Hollow
Grain, Feed, Coal, SawdustVolumetric Light-Material Bucket
Pallet ProductsPallet Fork
Snow or Snow ShovelWide Bucket or Snow Shovel

If more than one type of work is done in the enterprise, it is beneficial to get additional equipment for the scavenger. This allows the same technique to be used in different tasks.

Check the elevation of elevation of sure

When a ladder is used to load material onto a truck, its lifting and overturning height becomes important. When the equipment is not lifted high enough off the side of the truck, loading becomes more difficult or takes extra time.

If the side of the truck is high, a High Lift version may be needed. These types of bumpers are designed to lift the barrel higher than the standard model.

When checking height, compare:

  1. The height of the truck side.
  2. The maximum overturning height of the hive.
  3. Appropriate distance for safe load discharge.
  4. Ground cover and sight during work.

For businesses with grain, light material and high-body trucks, the high-lift model will be especially suitable.

Work area and maneuverability

A large footprint is not always an advantage. A compact model with a narrow barn, a small production area, or a low gate area may benefit more.

Assess the job area upfront:

  • width of entrance gate;
  • corridors inside the warehouse;
  • Where the technique turns;
  • the plane of the field;
  • cover of soil, asphalt or gravel;
  • Sludge, snow or dust condition in the season.

In tight spaces, a glider with a smaller turning radius works more comfortably. And in larger open areas, higher productivity and a larger hive are more important.

Tires should also be suitable for the working environment. Deep projection tires provide good traction on uneven soil and gravel terrain. And in areas with hard surfaces, tire wear and walking comfort are also taken into account.

Engine power and fuel costs

In the purchase of equipment, it is necessary to consider not only the initial price, but also the subsequent operating costs. Fuel, maintenance, consumables, and parts affect the overall cost.

It is imperative that the engine power is sufficient for the task to be performed. Machinery with very small power is stressed in heavy work. And excessively large power can cause excessive fuel costs for normal work.

Fuel consumption depends on the following factors:

  • the weight of the load;
  • number of work cycles;
  • the operator's management style;
  • the acumen of the field;
  • quality of technical service;
  • the condition of the tires and hydraulic system.

Timely change of oil and filters, check of the hydraulic system as well as the correct use of equipment will help control fuel consumption.

Operator Friendliness and Safety

The operator of the cabin can be in the cab for a long time during the day. Therefore, cabin ergonomics, viewing angle and ease of control affect work efficiency.

A comfortable cabin usually has the following aspects:

  • wide front and side viewing area;
  • adjustable comfortable seat;
  • intuitive management
